About Us
A Message from the PresidentRoyal Master Grinders is embracing the new requirements of our customers and their needs for machine tools that run themselves. At IMTS in 2006 we took a bold initiative in running the first lights out centerless grinding systems. These systems are designed to grind 24 hours per day without any operator intervention. Loading grinding, Gauging were all automatic, and required only raw material replenishment. Running these systems lights out was enhanced by connecting the machines to the internet. Using the internet as a tool, the machine can be accessed from a remote location including a PDA for machine updates, and even changing part numbers. We have recently finished a CNC dresser machine that has become extremely successful with its ease of programming using MS Excel, and its accuracy with .125 micron linear motors for positioning the two axis. This is available on all machine models. In the next two years we will be introducing more innovations as we look at our customers future requirements. Our engineering department has been re-tooled to the I-Pod Generation. These mechanical, electrical, and programming engineers bring to the table innovative and progressive thinking to solving centerless grinding challenges. They have been busy developing systems that literally take the seconds out of a process. Under the simple philosophy that seconds count and add up, all of our new projects stress this efficiency and have increased the productivity of these systems over 20%. Our programmers have installed in all of our programmable grinders internet connectivity to machines around the world so that updates can be made, and troubleshooting can be done without the need to be on-site. This equates to immediate attention for our customers. Our electrical engineers have been adapting to special requirements of our customers around the world, and the special requirements of our largest customers. Special wiring codes, and special voltages are becoming commonplace for us. Royal Master and its employees are looking forward to the future of our business and the future requirements of this industry. Our global and innovative thinking, and new product introductions will satisfy all of our existing and future customers for many years to come. Mission StatementWe manufacture a wide variety of machine models to meet the needs of a diverse range of applications. Thousands of Royal Master Grinders around the world produce guidewires, catheters, automatic components, punches, carbide, and much more. Established in 1946, Royal Master has grown under the principle of building a high quality compact centerless grinder at competitive prices. Our commitment to our customers is evident through our same day parts shipping, research and development lab, and technical support network. Royal Master's Engineering team is continuously developing new centerless grinding technologies to increase productivity demands and closer tolerance applications. Quality PolicyRoyal Master Grinders, Inc. and it's employees are dedicated to achieving, maintaining, and improving the quality of our product and customer service so that our customer's expectations are continually exceeded. This Policy has been formualted by the Royal Master Quality Team. This policy is explained at the general orientation training given to all existing and new employees. This policy is also posted in conspicuous locations throughout the company. Production FacilitiesEach machine manufactured is subjected to a battery of quality assurance procedures. These procedures ensure each machine not only meets our stringent criteria, but exceeds it. Each machine must grind a part to 1 micron round and 1 micron straight before it is released for shipping. Before your machine is shipped everyone is welcome to come to our facility for a machine acceptance trial and training. All of our machine's main component's are manufactured in our facility in Oakland, NJ. Our state of the art production machinery includes an eight pallet Kearny and Trecker Horizontal Machining Center, Fadal and Monarch Certical Machining Centers, Myford OD Grinder, Sunnen Hone, Cincinnati Cintum Automatic lathe. R&DOur research and Development Team works with customers who have questions about an existing or future application. Our technicians are just a phone call or fax away. Their experience in our equipment makes them a valuable resource for technical advise, grinding wheel recommendations, maintenance questions, or R&D development suggestions. Our extensive R&D library is computerized into a database. History on any application, material, or wheel specification can be accessed with the click of a button. |
